A poultry complex that grew together with the client’s production

A phased poultry-complex development project: 4 completed houses / 100,000+ heads per cycle, with 2 more houses under construction and installation in 2026–2027.

Completed
4 houses
100,000+ heads

Sector
Broiler poultry

The Rakivchytski Kovbasy project is different from a one-off delivery or a single isolated stage. It is an example of long-term cooperation, in which a broiler poultry complex was developed gradually — from the first phase through further expansion of production capacity.

The first stage included 2 broiler houses in 2013–2014. The second stage — 2 more houses in 2020–2021. The current stage, in 2026–2027, involves the construction and installation of 2 additional houses. As of today, the delivered scale of the project is 4 broiler houses for 100,000+ heads per cycle, with further expansion in progress.

2013 — 2014

First 2 houses

The start of cooperation. Design, kitting and commissioning of the first two broiler houses.

Completed
2020 — 2021

2 more houses

The second phase of the complex. The technological logic kept continuity with the first stage — 4 houses / 100,000+ heads in total.

Completed
2026 — 2027

2 more houses in progress

The third stage. Construction and installation of two more houses is underway — as an organic continuation of the previous phases.

In progress

At every stage of complex development, to ensure the technological logic of broiler rearing: a stable microclimate, the right air exchange, cooling, heating, feed, water, feed storage, installation and commissioning of systems.

In facilities like this it is important that new phases do not live separately from the previous ones but organically extend the overall production technology. The project therefore required not only equipment selection but also a consistent technical logic for each expansion stage.

  • Ventilation and air exchange
  • Minimum chimney ventilation
  • Maximum tunnel ventilation
  • Microclimate control
  • Evaporative cooling panels
  • Heating
  • Feed distribution
  • Feeding systems
  • Watering systems
  • Feed bins
  • Installation
  • Commissioning and tuning of systems

Farmer Engineering supported the development of the poultry complex as a technical partner that does not just supply equipment but helps to scale production step by step.

  • Shaping the technological solution for each stage
  • Selection of equipment and systems
  • Kitting of the poultry houses
  • Supply of technological equipment
  • Installation
  • Commissioning and tuning of systems
  • Technical support of the complex expansion

A long-term delivery of a broiler poultry complex, which developed in stages together with the client’s production needs.

This case shows not only Farmer Engineering’s technical competence in the broiler direction but also our ability to support a client across several stages of facility development — from the first phase to further scaling.
