An industrial-scale swine complex with 1,000 sows and a production capacity of 28,000+ finishing heads per year. Farmer Engineering supported the facility from the technological concept through to handover into operation.
This was not a project for a single system or a one-off equipment delivery. Farmer Engineering supported the facility from idea to handover: from the technological logic and choice of solutions through to kitting, installation, commissioning and on-site tuning.
In projects like this it is critical that all parts of the technology work as one system: section layout, animal groups, flooring, crates, slurry removal, ventilation, cooling, heating for piglets, feeding, watering, microclimate and daily operation must be aligned with each other already at the design stage.
To create a complete technological solution for a swine complex with a reproduction section, dedicated zones for different animal groups, a stable microclimate and systems capable of working in an intensive production regime.
