Engineering for
poultry,
swine
and cattle complexes

We design, source, supply, install and support technological systems for poultry houses, swine complexes and cattle facilities. We don’t just sell equipment — we build a working engineering system tailored to a specific building, animal stock, technology and operating regime.

Send a building plan, a task description or a short brief — we’ll suggest where to start and which data is needed for the initial calculation.

01 — Sectors

We work with three industries

We don’t try to cover everything: we work deeply in poultry and swine, and in cattle — only where we have hands-on experience and stand behind the result.

01

Poultry

Technological systems for broiler, layer and turkey houses. Air exchange, microclimate, cooling, heating, feeding, watering, silos, lighting.

Broiler · Layer · Turkey · Duck
02

Swine

Full swine-complex technology: internal equipment, sections, crates, flooring, ventilation, cooling, feeding, watering, gravity slurry removal, microclimate.

Farrowing · Nursery · Finishing · Full cycle
03

Cattle

An honest focus on the systems where we have real experience: ventilation, air exchange, cooling and air quality — for stable conditions and protection from heat stress.

Ventilation · Microclimate · Cooling pads
02 — Who we are

An engineering company, not an equipment shop

Farmer Engineering is an engineering company with 15+ years of experience implementing technological systems for poultry and livestock. We work with poultry, swine and cattle facilities in Ukraine and beyond.

In our work, what matters is not the catalogue itself but the right integration of systems. That integration is what determines production stability, animal health, feed costs and predictable results.

We work with European equipment and manufacturers from Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland.

01

We design the system to fit the task

First we understand the building, technology, livestock and operating modes — and only then choose the equipment.

02

A complex is a single system

Ventilation, cooling, heating, feeding and automation must work together — not as separate “line items on an invoice”.

03

We work with installation practice

The solution must not only be correct on paper but also realistic on the construction site and clear to the staff.

04

Tailored to a specific facility

New construction, reconstruction, modernisation or replacement of a single system — each scenario has its own logic.

05

We stay around after delivery

Commissioning, service, spare parts, technical consulting, system upgrades — part of normal work, not a “line on paper”.

Exafan — the world of agriculture
Strategic partner · Ukraine

Exafan’s strategic partner in Ukraine

Farmer Engineering is Exafan’s strategic partner in Ukraine. This allows us to offer proven European solutions for poultry and livestock complexes — from ventilation and microclimate control to Exafan’s other technological systems.

We don’t simply pass on an equipment catalogue — we help you select the right system, adapt it to the building, the housing technology, climate conditions and operating regime.

03 — Technological systems

Systems for farms and complexes

12 areas that actually work in our projects. Not a “product catalogue”, but engineering solutions that close into a single technological system for the facility.

Ventilation and air exchange

Tunnel, cross-flow, minimum / winter and chimney ventilation with control automation.

  • Tunnel and cross-flow
  • Minimum chimney
  • Inlet vents, chimneys
  • Emergency scenarios

Microclimate control

Controllers, sensors and control cabinets that unify ventilation, heating and cooling.

  • Microclimate controllers
  • T°, RH, CO₂ sensors
  • Control cabinets
  • Emergency alarms

Heating and thermal regime

Systems for the start of rearing and stable operation in cold periods without overcooling.

  • Water-based unit heaters
  • Local heating for young animals
  • Heat zones
  • Controller integration

Cooling

Cooling pads and tunnel cooling to keep the complex working in warm periods without losing performance.

  • Evaporative cooling pads
  • Pump stations
  • Tunnel cooling
  • Service and consumables

Feeding and feed distribution

Feed supply and distribution lines for broilers, turkeys, layers and swine.

  • Auger conveying
  • Chain-disc systems
  • Bins, feeders, pans
  • Feed dispensers

Watering and water treatment

Stable access to water, filtration, dosing, hygiene, flow monitoring.

  • Nipple lines
  • Pressure regulators
  • Filters and medicators
  • Lift systems

Silos and feed storage

Silos, bins and conveying lines moving feed from outside storage into the houses.

  • Silos and bins
  • Loading / unloading
  • Augers and conveyors
  • Level sensors

Internal equipment and housing

Crates, pens, partitions, feeders, floors and gratings — especially for swine complexes.

  • Crates and sections
  • Floors and gratings
  • Farrowing, nursery, finishing
  • Adaptation for reconstruction

Lighting

Technological LED lighting with dimming and light programmes for poultry and swine houses.

  • LED for poultry houses
  • Lighting for swine houses
  • Light programmes

Gravity slurry removal

Sewer-network design: gravity flow through pipes from the swine house to the lagoon, with technological slopes and tie-in to the layout of the complex.

  • Sewer-network planning
  • Pipe logic to the lagoon
  • Technological slopes and levels
  • Integration with flooring and ventilation

Design and engineering calculation

Analysis of the building, livestock, technology and facility constraints — done before the commercial offer.

  • Inputs gathering
  • Engineering calculation
  • Equipment selection
  • System compatibility check

Service and modernisation

Support after delivery: tuning, replacement of units, spare parts, modernisation.

  • System diagnostics
  • Spare parts
  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Modernisation without rebuilding
04 — How we work

From request to launch — in 8 stages

We don’t “just quote a price”; we run the logic of the project: from the first conversation about the task — through supply, installation, commissioning and service.

Stage 01

Request and understanding of the task

We clarify the facility type, livestock, current conditions and the client’s goal. Not “a set of equipment”, but a production result.

Stage 02

Preliminary engineering calculation

If we have enough input data — we prepare a preliminary solution with budget, specification and layout sketch.

Stage 03

Site visit or clarification

We verify the solution against actual conditions. For reconstructions, the site visit reveals real constraints of the facility.

Stage 04

Technical concept

One or two options — or a base solution with options. We explain where it’s possible to optimise without compromising the result.

Stage 05

Commercial proposal

Equipment specification, quantities, options, delivery and installation conditions. The commercial part is built on top of the technical solution.

Stage 06

Supply and logistics

Equipment ordering, deadline control, kitting and preparing the facility for installation.

Stage 07

Installation and commissioning

Installation, automation setup, start-up into working mode. Staff briefing and handover of operating logic.

Stage 08

Service and support

Seasonal modes, spare parts, modernisation, technical consulting. Our work doesn’t end on launch day.

06 — Request

Have a building plan, a brief or a task?

Send a short project description — we’ll clarify the inputs and tell you which systems should be calculated first. For an initial conversation it’s enough to know the type of complex, the building dimensions, livestock and what specifically you need.
